Some fans have criticized us for not having informed them accurately on the transfer of Tresor MPUTU to the Angolan club of Kabuscorp. This means forgetting that we are the official website For TP Mazembe and as such we only publish information duly validated by the Presidency. This is what we are doing do today.
Back from a trip on Sunday, the Chairman Moïse KATUMBI immediately reacted to the news published by the media and stating, that the signature by, Trésor MPUTU, a one-year contract to the Angolan club Kabuscorp. And his words are very clear:
“MPUTU is a player of Mazembe. He is bound by contract and any club that wants to have his services should contact us..."
Does this mean that the leaders of Angola champion wanted to ignore this aspect of the problem? “I wonder, in fact, a club president who is to play in the Champions League can do so in defiance of regulations. Kabuscorp never contacted us. Yet when we look at a player, the first step must be to question his club about his situation. This is what we do, we Mazembe when we recruit... Mind that to date MPUTU remains a player of TP Mazembe."
A European club is interested
It should be understood that the chairman of the TPM is not deliberately impede the departure of a player, as some may want to believe. He simply wishes to respect the rights of his club. He confirmed : "We have a club in Europe and one in Qatar which have expressed interest in Tresor We will respond in order to those who contact us ..." This implies that if Kabuscorp wants MPUTU, they should get on the list of candidates ...
